We "grown ups" can have our issues, but there's nothing more terrifying than thinking that what we do somehow will make our kids' lives more difficult. I have been locked away in a unmarked building working on a project for a company who contracts to a 3 letter acronym government agency. First, I won't be coming to California. Schedules not permitting as far as work. BUT...second and formost I am getting Divorced. Kristin has decided that she is tired of playing the game of "pretend" and I am starting to believe it myself from what she is saying and how she is acting as if I am a stranger. My only sorrow is for my two wonderful kids of which Kristin states "Should have never been born". I strongly disagree. It is my estimate that Hormones are playing a part in her decision process along with stress at work and me being confined to work without contact. I don't really know anything other. Just so you know the paperwork is filed but I have yet to be served. I told her that I will have the paperwork notarized so she will save 80 bucks and not have the constable serve me and she can just hand it to me. With that being said, I am looking for two houses. One to live in and another to spend time with the kids on the weekends etc... We are splitting time with the kids (pickup/take to school) so nothing is really changing except that I will be living somewhere else. Elizabeth (7) is starting to come around on the fact. James (3) has no idea what is going on. It breaks my heart to know that there will be some days where I cannot wake my kids up or roll over next to them more than anything but there is no reconsiling with (her) Kristin. She refuses to go to counciling and tells me that I am just not the one for her and that we should have never been married etc etc etc... so I cannot speak to those words but just go along with her and try to make her happy. I have sold all of my bikes and given the money to (her) Kristin and have rededicated my life to my kids so triathlon is not even in the equation right now. I am running still since the only thing I have left is a pair of Newtons and a Mountain Bike. Other than that WTF right? 8)
