tina of @ email: @: I picked the Element because it could haul all my coffee equipment on the inside, pull my carts in a trailer on the outside, had a totally washable inside because I'm clumsy and spill a lot (I have hosed it out before), the seats turn into a bed if it's raining when I'm camping and I need to sleep in it, I LOVE LOVE LOVE how the side doors open and there is no bar there to block the way of putting something inside, AND....if I went completely broke, I'd be quite comfortable living in it. :)

They use way less gas than toyota trucks, subarus, and if your little X3 gets better gas mileage I challenge you to drive that in Mammoth anytime between mid-December and mid-April. I still have my clunker 1993 honda hatch that gets 40 mpg. and goes 40mph :-)
