I also got a lil stick with Phat's face stuck on it (a photo, not his real face) and I'm always like "gawd damn it Phats, would you pull your weight and pull some weeds? I mean, I feel like I give a lot more to this relationship than you do...no, no, no, don't try and touch me...you're crowding me...I need some time along lil Phats so I'm going to put you in the backyard OK?"

Peter Sagal asked him (something to the effect of) if, when he gets burned out does he just like to sit in front of the TV with his feet up and not think about what he wants to try next...? Petit said, "I DON'T HAVE A TELEVISION." Gotta love it! :-)

Reindeer, moose, horses, pigs and cows are all thrown into an incinerator run by a firm called Konvex near Lake Vanem, southeast of Stockholm. Using a new method that was developed with the help of E.U. funding, raw animal material is crushed, ground and then pumped into a boiler where it is burned together with wood chips, peat or other waste to produce heat. "It is an efficient system as it solves the problem of dealing with animal waste and it provides heat,"

it's so sad, this one little chicken (the little little jerry) is not getting her feathers back. I wanted to bring her inside for the night but mean old cousin vetoed that. So, we flipped the top of a dog crate over and put it out in the coop with a light inside, in addition to the lights inside the main coop, and we're hoping she'll use that to stay warm.

I picked the Element because it could haul all my coffee equipment on the inside, pull my carts in a trailer on the outside, had a totally washable inside because I'm clumsy and spill a lot (I have hosed it out before), the seats turn into a bed if it's raining when I'm camping and I need to sleep in it, I LOVE LOVE LOVE how the side doors open and there is no bar there to block the way of putting something inside, AND....if I went completely broke, I'd be quite comfortable living in it. :)

I picked the Element because it made sense for me. Price, function (all the stuff I can put it in at once), driving in the snow and ice. I really didn't care what it looked like or that it wasn't a status vehicle. Prolly can't say that about the beemer, eh? ;-)

I'll say this -I'll take my 9 year old BMW all wheel drive wagon over any Subaru. We drove the 700 miles from S.D. to Lake G. in just under 11.5 hours with zero body aches. Driving a Subaru Forester long distance was torture!

I dunno, ;-)) my 9 year old BMW 325xi wagon gets 28-30mph, so it would seem to me that an0-3 Element should have come in at 35pmh. But, then it's not about performance, it's how one looks, right? Or not? ;-))

Huh. Give me an idea of something "in its class" that gets better gas mileage? They use way less gas than toyota trucks, subarus, and if your little X3 gets better gas mileage I challenge you to drive that in Mammoth anytime between mid-December and mid-April. I still have my clunker 1993 honda hatch that gets 40 mpg. and goes 40mph :-)
