Chipper means 'happy' but I multiplied it by negative one by typing my whole statement in caps. Note: negative words in lower case do not flip their meaning, e.g. "JD blew out his head tube at 26mph, faceplanted and it sucked" literally means 'it sucked'.

I don't understand why people don't get the concept behind the design. Its real simple. Were human beings and we A) don't make a perfect circle with our pedal stroke due to human kinetics and B) we don't have perfect constant applied output power like a mechanical engine that has a constant power output. This approach takes into account both and identifies that we are NOT perfect and is "FIX" link between a non perfect machine to the perfect machine to create the best output based on our differences. Its rudimentary. It's a great concept. 8)

I had a friend stationed in Greenland with the USAF. They regularly had 100+ mph winds. If they were going from one building to another - maybe 100' away - they would have to call over first to let others know they were going to that specific place and then clip onto the rope line which ran between buildings. If there was no arrival in a short period of time, a rescue party would automatically be sent out. That is cold.
