Had to steal a golf cart to take three great elder ladies with canes all the way back to the front of the Lodge because it was dark and they could barely walk. They were from Ukiah Cali and were so nice. It was all like driving my three grandmas around in a cart, chattin and laughing. Alas, I had to return said stolen cart....but it was worth it. So far today, only one person has made it around - 9 have crashed or outlanded. Not suprisingly, it's rated ~difficult~.

We are working on a project together (with about 5 other people) that came about as a result of the conference. He also said that he has a friend who is doing some work in a pretty rough part of st. paul, so his friend moved into said neighborhood (this is common for people 'working' in neighborhoods - kinda like I lived in the neighborhood of my homeless homecakes in San Diego). He wants to introduce me to this friend - I'm really excited!!! I feel like I'm about to start getting my 'hands dirty' again doing purposeful 'work' rather than sitting in a pristine office cranking out numbers that in the grand scheme of things mean nothing to anyone.... (not that I don't appreciate the job as it has allowed me to pay of my loans and take good care of my doggies :-)
