Ray - I'm lucky as my boss is sponsoring my MBA so the company is paying. Can't turn down that opportunity! Laura - I'll be going to school all day every other Friday & Saturday. Long, intense days but only every other week with one-week blocks once a semester. I'm looking forward to the challenge.

The reason I was asking the MBA question was that a couple of years ago I read an article about their relative worth. At the time, they were so common, and expensive, it was considered not necessarily a cost effective option depending on what kind of work you were seeking. Prolly changed now, prolly.

Yesterday morning I had to call Apple regarding my IPhone. The woman I was talking to was very nice and had a VERY distinct accent, so in the middle of our conversation about my phone, I had to ask..."are you from Minnesota by chance?" And the answer....YES! :-) I laughed, I'm not so sure she found it funny. :-/ I was just impressed with my accent recognition.

Al - yeah...I think I heard it could be a masters in anything, like if I wanted to teach math, I'd get a masters in math, BUT...they said my MBA would also count for the 'masters pay scale' and I THINK they even said I could start teaching right away because of that, but I would just have to take core teaching classes on the side.

Nursing is all over the map in terms of what you need to make very good money and advance. At my hospital, there are 6000 (approx) nurses, of those only 240 have advanced practice degrees (masters or PhD). The majority have ADN (2 year) or BSN (4 year), with many nurses getting clinical specialty certifications on top of their degrees. And, the latest in nursing is the nurse practitioner (N.P.) or now, a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) or a Masters in Medical Infomatics, for those who want to combine nursing with finance or administration. What I love about nursing is that there are so many, many possibilities!

Of course, you're pretty rural too so if you aren't a good shot, use a .410 shotgun with the same milk jug. Better coverage and your aim can be off a little. Not sure how I know this, must have been something I read.

rita, I recommend a pellet gun and standard 0.117 shot. Sight it in at about 25ft and just sit there all quiet until you get one in the crosshairs. Head shot is best although they twitch a little afterward. If your neighbors are PETA people, use a quart plastic milk jug over the barrel to muffle the shot. Yer Welcome!

Thing about different dog breeds, they have their unique own styles. German Shepards are more formal and business like, hence the panty hose. Labs are all about play and fun, leading to a nice Teva sandal snack. So my question to the page is: what breed of dog will go for a Stiletto?

How he didn't get obstructed is beond me but he did run around for a whole day with one leg of the panty hose sticking out his butt. I couldn't pull it out for fear of disemboweling him. Right now that is about 10 inches off the floor but soon to be 6 feet or greater. Her mommy got to be 95lbs and daddy was 115lbs. She is doing really really good with the kennel training. Hardly makes any noise at night. No real accidents to report but a few close calls. Hope to get some photo's I took of here on monday with the kiddo's. Tina, Hang in there. you have a good head on your sholders. I know this because you have great hair. great hair means strong roots. Strong roots benefit from good top soils and substrate, whisch is equivalent to a good skull and brain. So there. perfect logic. . . . . that, or I need to turn off all of those A&E and HGTV makover shows.

I did get my brain from the wizard. I think I need a new one. This one has a lot of mileage on it.

My mind thing has absolutely nothing to do with belief/God/whatever. Just more a 'functionability' issue. To cut to the chase, basically I'm heading back to a shrink - blah.

Far better to understand your current challenges than to be a fool who repeats his mistakes (Vimpy, 09).

Even believing I could be first, rather than skeptically assuming someone else would post on the new page first :-)

I've often thought belief would be a nice thing.
