K, here's what I got so far: Andy Jones-Wilkins and a guy named Brad Mitchell are great ultra freaks right here in SV. I work everyday with Brad and Andy is the headmaster at a private school aboot a stone's throw away from where I am now sitting. Both are kinda good gnomesain. They train with a couple of others here, even in the -30 degree winter. The regular mtns are aboot 8,000 to 9,000 feet at trail level and north of here 10-11k. it could actually be 100% trail runs here except the dead of winter but I have yeti trax fer the shoes. Also, in May there is an annual 62 mile relay run, the Sawtooth Relays, that can be done solo, right here in town. I forgot my other point. My heart says "ya have no choice but do it" and my head say "no way dude!" I feel like an old married couple all in one. I'm gonna sleep on it and decide on Saturday when I'm not all giddy. Maybe the reality will set in and I'll be like "WTF? NO!" Crap, why the f not really? i ain't got nuthin ta lose

With tons of respect to the Black Mamba (Kobe) and Senor Gasol), Lamar Odom is a key for the Los Angeles Lakers. If he goes for 17pts, 12 rebounds and a couple assist the Lakers win big.

Choose a year? See that's the problem. I have no real expectation that I lead my daily life in such a way to make that possible. Choosing a year would ne like how I operate with IM, jus sign up, maybe train, and maybe actually race. I need to do like 50 more life changing things in order to even contemplate signing up for Leadville. IM is just a luxury for me and I've finished before and that's all fine. To even say "I'm doing Leadville" would require a whole new way of doing business. I work 45 hours a week, do Fire for 10 or so a week, halfway through a remodel, sorta train for IM, sleep like a death row inmate aboot to be killed, have family pressures, would kinda like to date, have 40 different hobbies, and am borderline crazy. How do I squeeze Leadville in that mess? Not having tv is a start I guess

Tiner, when I ran in high school I loved the hilly tree runs and hated the roads and track. Now when I run, getting out in the boonies doesn't feel like running. When I do my hour city run it feels too much like running. I'm hoping that 5 hour trail runs to nowhere just go by like gel on the brain. That would be good!

So I'll go with having a chance instead and try and line up a few other things and just maybe I can find it within me ta put it all together. You alls make it look so easy but it's not like that for me. I gotta fight every day with my unhealthy impulses just to stay even with my health.
