Laura of @ email: @: Hi Al and Tina! yea, these poor lungs don't know what has hit them..Tina, thankx for asking about Mom. She saw her surgeon yesterday, who did some more debriedment (that's cleaning out tissue in the wound) and we discussed options. It's a rare chrondroidal (that means the tumor started in her rib cage) tumor that is too advanced to be surgically removed. Mom has decided against chemotherapy or radiation, but she is in very good spirits, and has no pain. We are going to have her live with us and will manage her place for her. Keeping it on an even keel and taking it week by week.

Went to Pygmy Kayak to see the birthplace of my kayak. Hiked around. Saw Star Trek and the old time theater, were the hostess gave a 4 minute talk about the film beforehand. People politely took out thier own trash afterwards :-) Read Once a Runner and Born to Run. Given the conversation on the Page...Born to run is a must read. Confirms Gordo's Paleo theory, that all running shoes are bad (or at least contribute to injuries) and that human were meant and designed for endurance running. As I go to see my podiatrist today and begin physical therepy this week for two knees, left shin and mortons neuroma.
