boop...sorry you are under the weather :( fever is typically a prominent symptom with true influenza, along with sore throat, prominent body aches, but minimal congestion. "Cold viruses" (Rhinovirus, Coronavirus, Adenovirus, etc...) fever is less common, body aches less common, but congestion more severe....some overlap....but you are right indeed :)

A man walks into a bar and says, "Excuse me, I'd like a beer." The bartender serves the drink and says, "That'll be four dollars." The customer pulls out a twenty-dollar bill and hands it to the bartender. "Sorry, sir," the bartender says, "but I can't accept that." The man pulls out a ten-dollar bill and the bartender rejects his money again. "What's going on here?" the man asks. Pointing to a neon sign, the bartender explains, "This is a Singles Bar." Morn' Peepers! Train Safe!

So three of us at work all got sick this weekend...all the same symptoms. Crazy! One went to the doc today and was told she had the flu and should stay home for the rest of the week. I said it's not the flu...it's just a bad cold. Don't you have to have a fever to have the flu??? Of course, I don't own a thermometer so I don't have proof that I didn't/don't have a fever, but pretty sure it's just a nasty cold.

I hate to say this, but I don't remember us acting like that WAY back then. There seems to be both much more risky behavior going on (not just sex) as well as a general disregard for locals. I don't want to do an old fogey rant. I have partied hearty in my day, but I don't recall such in your face disrespect for others and the enviornment. Maybe I should just go ride.

Hi Fred! Actually my first triathlon in 5 years was Saturday at Oceanside. It was a lot of fun and I was out there for a very long time. Amazing how long it has been. The only person I recognized was Acorn who was riding his bike the other way. Laura and the boys are doing well, thanks. Jackson has started swimming and baseball, but he is happiest when he gets in trouble and the coach makes him run laps. Glad to hear you are still riding those hills, they were beautiful.

The Big Dig is back. I was thinking of you this weekend as I was riding along Redwood Road, scene of our first ride back in the day. Ten years almost. How are the kids? And Laura? When is your next race? Where did you place in the Tour de Fuq? That seemed like a worthwhile cause. I sure the parents were proud of their kids for perfomring such a public service. Maybe I'm just getting old. I need to go for a ride.

Yesterday...I was in the garage organizing stuff and watching the Race and Elizabeth was trying to sneak out the door and I glanced over at her. She had a 5x5 wrapped present and was setting it down on the ground in front of the door closer to me. She had tied a small thin ribbin to it and was cracking the door holding on to the ribbon. So I walked over to the box and acted like I was going to reach down and pick it up and she pulled the ribbon from the crack in the door and the box slid toward the door. I acted like I was going to grab it again and she pulled the ribbon and the box slid closer to the door out of my reach. This went on for around 3-4 times before the box/present was at the door and she snatched it up thru the cracked door. She was trying to be funny and tease me with her present to me. I thought that was pretty funny of her to manufacture on her own as a joke. 8)

Seriously, I spent two weeks in Hawaii with a low grade headache, would get the chills after running 15 minutes and drunk 800 gallons a day and didn't pee for two weeks. I'd lay in the apartment watching TV to escape the heat and Jen would be all like "well whatever I'm off to the beach" and I'm all like "ITS TOO FREEKIN HOT MANG!! MY PROTEINS ARE DENATURING. GIIME THE COOL BUSH CLAD HILLS WHERE MY SPIRIT BELONGS". Plus you had every hodad in the surf and you know its so warm they can stay out there all day. Lease in winter here if there's a big crowd you know they'll be packing in an hour max. Heat mang! SCREW ALLA THAT!

I could see cruisin' the muscle car, sun, windows down, breezy, power boster in the trunk that is feeding your component speaker system -- separate woofer and a tweeter positioned for high-end stereo image consistent with the power under the hood. Maybe some subwoofer -- all of it screaming Molly Hatchet's "FLIRTIN' WITH DISASTER" just a little too loud. You know, so the folks not in the rig are gettin' a bit disturbed. Yo! What? Too Bad!

See here's the thing in NZ - 'root' is used to describe the physical act a man and woman can participate in, or doode on doode or wahine on wahine or whatever. The local wireless station has a section on Monday mornings called "When Cougars attack" and all sorts of doodes ring up and tell how that got mauled over the weekend and asked why the didn't climb the nearest tree. So anyways one doode ran up and said he's just put a new bumper sticker on his car "Cougars - root 'em, don't shoot 'em:". me thoughts of ST. True story thats.

The subject property is currently designated as Single-Family Residential (RS-1) by the City’s Zoning Map and Medium Density Residential (4-14 du/acre) by the Future Land Use Map of the 2005 Comprehensive Plan Update. The proposed subdivision of the property to form individual single-family residential lots is in accordance with the permitted uses and densities (2 du/acre) within the RS-1 Zoning District. My junk hangs down to my ankles. The Medium Density Residential land use designation by the Future Land Use Map is not consistent with the current zoning and would require a zoning map amendment to implement any applicable increased densities and/or zoning standards for multi-family development. However, the applicant is not seeking a zone map amendment and intends to subdivide the property in accordance with the densities and standards permitted under the current zoning designation.
