Our clinical was at Repairs of the Breach - the only shelter in Milwaukee that is open during the daytime for the homeless. It is run by the homeless for the homeless and they take no government money. Strictly volunteer. And, considering today was 8 F, that is a good thing. Interesting stat: only 12 % of the homeless are so due to drugs or ETOH, the majority are homeless due to job loss, loss of homes, run out of options. To me, that is profound.
