Chris, I just have a real problem saying 'I do this well and I do that well and its great to have me on the team because...yadda yadda", so I just focus on what I need to improve on (which comes to me a lot easier than finding my strengths!) and it makes me seem like I'm a 'less than' employee - just because I don't go off saying I'm all that and a bag o' chips! I JUST CAN'T DO IT!!!! crap.

Just got out of my performance evaluation Tina. Ugh, I hate doing that stuff too. See if you can use the phrase "everything I touch turns to gold and rainbows come out of my posterior". That was actually suggested by my boss. I couldn't think of a good place to use it in the official document though.

The baby is still in utero! I have started drinking raspberry leaf tea, had a foot massage today to hit some key points, walking and "other" fun methods of getting things going...no go yet...but I am not due technically until Tuesday...issue is -- baby has a big VIMPY head and I want to do this naturally (no c-section) and because I had a c-section before I can't be induced by any chemical methods for fear of rupturing my scar...so anything I can do to get labor going sooner rather than later will hopefully allow me to push this one out. I really, REALLY don't want a c-section again...but what will be will be and all that really matters is the arrival of a healthy baby.

I agree with Olden that the crowds at Slowbang aren't that thick. My problem is that a lot of them are rekkies and do some unpredictable things. I hate crashes. If you want to ride that area on that day, I'll take you out another direction from the start--no crowds, bigger hills, no fee. Plus, you can stay on the futon with Henry. Henry will lick you and chew on you.

That said, it is one to do before you take a dirt nap...Just my .02...

ooh...movies...finally something I've done! Slumdog was entertaining, and I could see how it wins some awards for technical merit. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - best movie I've seen this year. Gran Torino was typical Clint toughness, although I didn't find his character that much of a departure from many others so I wouldn't say it set him apart. Then there is Paul Blart - I don't know why we paid money for it, but it wasn't that bad :-)

My mutt family is from all over the world, all immigrants one way or another. My dad's side is from a small town near Amsterdam. My Opa and Oma suffered during the war with 9 kids and little food...no deaths though, unlike many they knew. My dad's best childhood friend lost his dad cause he was shot trying to steal potatos from a barge to feed his family. To this day our family still harbors distate for Germany, 2 generations later. I don know what it is and generally I have enjoyed the German culture and everyone I have ever met. Yet, somewhere deep down in my family psyche, there lies this nationalistic distate for that country. Schindler's List was a bellweather film for humanity. I watch it every time I get malaized or feel sorry for my circumstance. Got the DVD in '95 or whenever and watch it several times a year. That, Rocky, and IMan's IM dvd's are great training motivation tools

The Black Night is pretty good, Heath steals the show...but see it on a big screen cause the sound and music tend to take over the scenes I guess as it should since that's the nature of Batman movies. On a big screen the sound will envelope you instead of making you strugle to hear the dialogue. heath should win postumously

One of my users called the on-call cell phone to ask me to put a message on our website. I was almost to the parking garage. Instead of parking, I kept driving back home. 90 minutes in the car to end up back where I started. Friggin jobs...
