It appeared to me like it was a harkening back to a great Black leader and his inspirational speech and making a comparison to a new black leader and his inauguration speech.

Perhaps the most powerful speech ever given in this country. MLK was looking forward to the time when we "will live in a nation where [we] will be not be judged by the color of [our] skin but the content of [our] character." That day is much closer than it was in 1963.
