Sure enough, it was not done so he gets his other dude over that supposedly does the work. Other dude says yes it was done so we walk over again and sure enough it was not done. Then worker dude says no it was not done they did "building over there" (130 next door). Roofer dude then yells at worker dude and produces a list (remember the list he says I was not on?). So he checks the list and my number and name are on it and not 130. So worker guy looks depressed for having done the wrong roof and roofer guy gets all yelly and insulting. Roffer says no worries he wont charge for the 130 work (YER DERNED RIGHT YOU WONT!) and he'll get his worker dude right onto my roof and get it done as soon as possible. What do you bet that I won't see either joker in the next week or two if ever? do I hear 50$? 75$?

The real story is that I got like 3 hours sleep last night and finished a large project and got a call earlier in the day from a roofer that said "my" roof was done and it all went well. He went into great description about what he found and fixed (been waiting months and months to even get him out here cause the HOA moves at dinosaur speed). Then I roll up to inspect my newly repaired roof and the friggen snow wasn't even disturbed...not even a footprint on my roof let alone two new valleys of shingles and wrap! The house next to mine (owned by the dude that built these places) had a nice new fix in the area similar to what mine needs. So I call the roofer and he's all "which unit do you live in? you may not have been on the list?" and I was all like, "I CREATED THE F@CKING LIST A HOLE AND AFTER ALL THESE MONTHS YOU STILL HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT EVEN WHICH UNIT I LIVE IN EVEN AFTER I GAVE YOU A DIRECT TOUR OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND THE INSIDE OF MY GAWDAERNED ATTIC???" Mang, ya jus can't get good help these days...yet if I take my own tools and do my own roof and do it right but it leaks into my unit in the future or in my neighbors then insurance is void and all the liability is on me. So then I try and get my blood pressure down below "EXTREME" and settle in fer a little news and they bombard me with the whole Palin thang and I jus lose it. I swear an ulcer or tumor popped out the side of my stomach after all this. If I had any drugs within 100 feet of me I would medicate!
