I have had complete rib fracture and surgical wrist fracture missed on initial examination. That's why so many docs assume there may be fracture. Don't underestimate your tolerance for pain. I would limit initial activity (weight bearing) to allow callous formation of possible occult fx.

At least that's the preliminary (haven't talked to the doctor). I think I can walk on the treadmill with the boot and some duct tape to the pedal, I'm sure I can ride the trainer. And swim.
