My issues have to do with abandonment by my mother, thus my attraction to a religion of unfeeling detachment and observation, while simultaneously having most all of my professional mentors be women. And seeking employment where I am surrounded by hot women in the workplace (which really messes with the whole detachment thing) :-)

I was in the Mpls airport today when arriving back from Texas. I passed a store with a fleecy thing, but on it was what appeared to be a moose. It reminded me of Palin and therefore I kept walking.

$10 bucks says you get soooooo many great comments from Londoners :) A survey in Japan (random on the street by an American who's been living in Japan for about 10 years) had NO ONE wanting McCain as president. true story. From everything I've seen, the World kinda digs Barack :)

Thanks all! Rayman - I was not sandbagging. I did not do the training & predicted I would run a 4:30...4:31 is very slow for me. If I'd a done the training I would've been going back to Boston. Alas, my job gets in the way these days. Speaking of, I'm about to get on a plane for London in 20 min. That's a flight I'm not looking forward to!! Congrats to Sharon & Alynn and my co-worker Pari who finished her first marathon in 4:38. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather so I have no complaints!!
