There are a couple uber swimmers here that will probably lead by 90secs out of the water. I think early bike pace will also be explosive (maybe some sub fifty-five 40k's) and those lead fish will be caught. Unlike past years where 15 elites have ridden together I think smaller groups will form (3-5 riders) as guys push the pace and some very strong athletes have to let go. Near the front and out of T2, I look for macca to hit the run along Alii near 5:45 pace for the first few miles to see if the other guys go with him like they did last year. You have to be incredibly fit to hurt yourself knowing you are hurting others more. He's my pick!
